Frequently Asked Questions
Guests are welcome to arrive between 4:00-4:25pm. Please plan to be seated before the ceremony begins at 4:30pm.
All three will take place at different locations within Olympia's Valley Estate in Petaluma. There's no need to travel between events — everything will happen on site!
The ceremony will be held outdoors by the pond and willow trees. Cocktail hour will take place outdoors behind the Victorian house, and the reception will be indoors in the historic barn.
In the event of rain, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be moved to covered indoor locations on the property. We’ll make sure everyone stays comfortable no matter the weather!
Our dress code is semi-formal. We encourage warm neutrals, soft greens, and earthy tones to complement the setting. Our wedding party will be wearing olive, so we kindly ask guests to avoid that specific shade.
Of course! Pastels and other soft tones are always welcome, but we recommend avoiding white or very bright, bold colors. Our suggested palette is simply to complement the setting — please wear something you feel comfortable and confident in.
Absolutely! Just keep in mind that parts of the evening will take place outdoors and in a barn, so block heels, wedges, or dressy flats may be more comfortable.
Due to limited space, we're only able to accommodate guests who are listed on the invitation. Thank you for understanding!
We're happy to celebrate with the children listed on invitations! For safety, we kindly ask that parents supervise their children at all times throughout the evening.
We'll be serving beer, wine, two signature cocktails, one mocktail, and other non-alcoholic options.
Yes — please include any dietary restrictions when you RSVP so we can coordinate with our caterer. Kids' meals are also available upon request.
Yes!! Bear will be making a special appearance during the ceremony. He'll also be around for pets during cocktail hour, but please let him approach you first.
Parking will be available on site at Olympia's Valley Estate. Please follow directions from parking attendants when you arrive. There will be a short walk from parking to the ceremony area.
Transportation will not be provided, so guests should plan to drive or arrange their own transportation.
San Francisco International Airport (SFO) is the closest major airport to the venue. Oakland International Airport (OAK) is another convenient option, both about an hour's drive depending on traffic.
